PLEASE NOTE: 

The Department of Statistics Convocation event will be split into separate ceremonies for undergraduates and graduate students. Please read the information below carefully and be on the lookout for emails regarding the availability of guest tickets.

• 12:00 - 1:15pm: Undergraduate Ceremony in Sanford Hall, Room 213
  • 3 guest tickets per student guaranteed; 1-2 additional tickets may become available on first-come, first-served basis. Details to be announced. 
  • Students and guests are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes or more prior to the start of the event.
• 1:15 - 2:00pm: Reception in the Sanford Hall Coca Cola Lounge
• 2:15 - 3:00pm: Graduate Ceremony in Sanford Hall, Room 213
  • Tickets will be abundant, all reasonable ticket requests can be honored.
  •  Students and guests are encouraged to arrive early and participate in the preceding reception. Please arrive no later than 2:00pm for the ceremony itself.

Due to limited seating in Sanford Room 213, separate ceremonies will be held for undergraduate majors and graduating master’s and PhD students. A reception with light refreshments will be held between the two ceremonies. All students and their families and guests are invited to join the reception. We ask that all students enter Sanford Room 213 at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony.

RECEPTION

Our joint reception between the Undergraduate and Graduate Ceremonies will be held in the Coca-Cola Lounge of Sanford Hall from 1:15 - 2:00pm. 

This is a small lounge area with limited space and seating/tables, so please be sure to keep the line flowing and make room for others to get their refreshments.

In the event of inclement weather, we will be able to fill in the hallway of Sanford, but if the weather is nice, please feel free to enjoy your refreshments at the tables out front of Sanford or the beautiful walkway between Sanford and Brooks Halls.
