As a Professor in the Department of Biostatistics at Virginia Commonwealth University, Dr. Bandyopadhyay has recently been elected a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. This is a tremendous accomplishment, and we are proud that the UGA Department of Statistics had some small role in his development as a statistician!
