Michele recently celebrated her 30th year at the Centers for Disease Control an Prevention in Atlanta. Michele is a Health Statistician in the Division of Reproductive Health. Most of her years were spent working on a variety of research studies looking on such topics as oral contraceptive use and the risk of breast cancer, ectopic pregnancy, smoking cessation during pregnancy, and most recently, perinatal transmission of HIV in infants and contraceptive use effectiveness in HIV positive woman. Michele's son graduated from the UGA Terry College of Business in May with a degree in MIS and her daughter is working on her application for the fall of 2012.
